26 miles. 42 km.
The Saints Way cuts the tip of Cornwall, and was apparently once used by pilgrims on their way from Ireland to the mainland. The voyage around Lands End was perceived as too risky. Therefore it was preferable to go over land from Padstow to Fowey. Today, the walker is following more or less the same historical route.
