Slí an Earagail, Errigal Way, Dunlewey - Dunlewey, 77 km, 3 days
The Errigal Way is named after mount Errigal, 751 m high, a landmark in the east during the entire walk. This trail is one of four circular routes that together form the Donegal Way, or Slí Dún na nGall. This region in the northeast of Ireland is still Gaelic speaking, and the trails therefore have Gaelic names.
The Slí an Earagail is a varied route. Large parts are near to the coast. Elsewhere the path runs along lakes. Bogs and forests are included too. On the whole, the trail is pretty flat, and contours some mountains.
Accommodation is available along the trail.
