Beskids
Description
The Beskids is a mountain range, part of the Carpathians, starting in the east of the Czech Republic, constituting the border between Slovakia and Poland, and ending in Ukraine, the border area with Poland.
Most of this mountain range is located in Poland. The Beskids reach 1725 m on the Polish-Slovakian border (Babia Góra), and 2060 m in the Ukraine (Howerla).
The Beskids are less known than the Tatra, a wilder mountain range to the south.
