The North Cork Way is a light country walk, along small roads between rolling pastures. There are some woods. And you may have to ford the Blackwater River, when the envisaged bridge is not ready yet.
The North Cork Way is the third stage of the Beara Breifne Way. It is the continuation of the Slí Gaeltacht Mhúscrai. At Lismire, the Ballyhoura Way takes over.
