Emden – Wilhelmshaven, 75 km, 4 days

Between the river Ems and river Jade runs the Ems-Jade Canal, and this trail follows its course for the most part. The path takes us through a variety of landscapes. In the summer your attention will probably mainly be drawn by the countless leisure captains, sailing up and down the canal in their boats. The walk is flat, but defenitely not boring. The open Frisian landscape in this northwestern tip of Germany has all kinds of little details to offer. The trail also leads through the cities of Emden, Aurich and Wilhelmshaven. Part of it is used for the European Long Distance Trail E9.
